You're comfortable working independently and as part of a team to achieve goals. Above all, you enjoy problem-solving and are focused on delivering solutions that positively impact the business.
About the Role:
As a
Revenue Retention Specialist, you will work directly with the finance team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. This is a remote role, and you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while also collaborating with internal teams in different time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Accounts Receivable: Track overdue accounts and take appropriate action to ensure payment is received.
- Customer Outreach: Contact customers with overdue accounts, negotiate payments, and establish payment plans.
- Account Research: Utilize tools to locate customers who may have moved or changed contact information.
- Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of communication with customers, payments collected, and resolution status.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve billing issues or customer disputes efficiently.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on account status and collections progress.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Client Success and other teams to ensure seamless handoffs and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in billing & collections, accounts receivable, or similar roles.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle escalated issues.
- Problem-Solving: Comfortable navigating complex collections scenarios and offering solutions.
- Resilience: Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with difficult customers or high-pressure situations.
- Tools: Familiarity with CRM and collections software (Salesforce CRM experience is a must, Salesloft experience is a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple accounts at once.
Key Outcomes:
This role has a variable compensation component based on performance targets. Success does not just mean collecting overdue payments, rather also triaging customer feedback with our client success team to ensure a positive overall experience with RepeatMD.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary
- Employee Bonus Plan
- Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)
- Stock options
- PTO
