Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit.
• Develop and execute Reddit-specific strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement on the platform.
• Identify and engage with relevant communities on Reddit, contributing valuable content and fostering positive relationships.
• Create, curate, and manage engaging content for our social media accounts to attract and engage our target audience.
• Monitor and respond to user interactions, comments, and messages promptly and professionally.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and opportunities for growth in the pet care industry.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media activities with overall marketing strategies and goals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
• Expertise in using major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit) with a strong focus on Reddit account management and marketing.
• Specific expertise in handling Reddit accounts for social media, including running ads, creating communities, engaging with communities, and posting content, is required.
• Excellent understanding of social media KPIs and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
• Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and on-brand content.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas to drive engagement and growth.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for pets and knowledge of the pet care industry is a plus.
