Position Overview:
As a BDR at Molecule, you’ll be at the front line of our sales efforts - identifying, engaging, and qualifying new leads. Your work will directly contribute to building a strong sales pipeline and positioning Molecule as the partner of choice for energy and commodity trading organizations. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career, with the ambition to grow into a quota-carrying sales professional.
Key Responsibilities:
· Execute outbound business development via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
· Research and identify potential prospects within our target segments.
· Clearly articulate Molecule's value proposition to senior decision-makers.
· Manage and maintain accurate prospect data and activities in HubSpot CRM.
· Work closely with the EU Sales Director to define target accounts and outreach strategies.
· Partner with marketing to align campaigns with outbound efforts and provide feedback from the market.
· Schedule discovery meetings and demos for the sales team.
· Consistently meet and exceed activity targets (calls, emails, meetings booked).
· Stay informed on industry trends to support relevant, value-driven outreach.
What We’re Looking For:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a similar commercial role (preferably in SaaS or technology).
· Energy/commodity trading knowledge would be desirable.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional European languages a plus).
· Comfortable with high-volume outreach and engaging decision-makers over phone/email.
· Organized and detail-oriented, with experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM).
· A self-starter with resilience, persistence, and a growth mindset.
· Interest in developing into a full sales role over time.
