This person will design and deliver scalable learning experiences for new hires, existing employees, and customers, using modern tools and AI-enabled technologies. You’ll select a training platform, create a multi-layered curriculum, and implement role-specific and product training programs for both internal teams and external users.
Your work will ensure employees ramp faster, customers are better educated, and product knowledge is accessible and consistent across the organization.

Design, build, and publish engaging training content and curriculum using modern instructional design methods and AI tools.
Create training for:
- New hire onboarding (company-wide)

- External customer education
Develop knowledge checks, certifications, and feedback loops to measure effectiveness.
Maintain a library of up-to-date training modules that scale with product and company growth.

Track training metrics and use analytics to improve curriculum over time.
Act as a one-person training department, with support for future scaling.
4–6+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related training role—preferably in SaaS or tech.
Demonstrated ability to independently build and implement training programs from scratch.
Experience with modern training platforms (e.g., Lessonly, TalentLMS, Docebo, etc.) and comfort evaluating/selecting tools.
Strong use of AI and automation tools for curriculum development, content creation, and personalization.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills for clear, engaging instruction.
Comfortable working cross-functionally and gathering information from subject matter experts.
Passion for clarity, learning, and helping people succeed in their roles.
Bonus: experience in energy trading, SaaS onboarding, or customer success training.
A remote-first team reshaping the energy industry with smart, intuitive software.
A builder’s role with high impact and company-wide visibility.
Autonomy, creativity, and the chance to launch a function from the ground up.
Competitive compensation, equity, and benefits.
