Job Purpose:
- The Referral Coordinator at MEDEFY HEALTH INC will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining the referral process within our SaaS platform. The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient coordination and communication between healthcare providers and patients, enhancing the overall user experience and facilitating seamless access to healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the referral process by collaborating with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate referrals.
- Maintain and update referral records in the SaaS platform, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any referral-related inquiries, providing support and guidance to both healthcare providers and patients.
- Monitor and track referral statuses, following up as necessary to ensure timely completion and resolution of any issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the referral process, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Collaborate with the IT and development teams to enhance the functionality and user experience of the referral system within the SaaS platform.
- Provide training and support to healthcare providers and internal staff on the referral process and system usage.
- Prepare and present reports on referral activities and outcomes to management, offering insights and recommendations for process enhancements.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in referral management to ensure MEDEFY HEALTH INC remains at the forefront of healthcare technology solutions.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or SaaS environment, preferably in a referral coordination or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing patient referrals and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and referral processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with healthcare providers and patients.
- Proficiency in using healthcare software systems and tools, with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
