Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represent Medefy Health positively in the market
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop a territory specific go-to-market plan
  • Become a SME on Medefy Health products and solutions
  • Build a sales funnel through a variety of personal lead generation and prospecting activities
  • Leverage existing employee benefits channel relationships, while actively developing new ones
  • Establish channel partner relationships and effectively develop to generate qualified opportunities
  • Own the sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting to pipeline management to closing
  • Communicate with prospects and leads to identify challenges and opportunities to add value
  • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to channel and employer prospects based on their challenges and needs
  • Pitch the platform to the appropriate stakeholders in organizations, primarily with self-funded health plans and other related entities, such as employee benefits consultants/brokers
  • Guide partners and prospects through sales process to a successful close
  • “Paint the Town Pink” by organizing and/or attending relevant networking functions, meetings and conferences
  • Manage travel & entertainment budget and reconcile monthly expenses
  • Maintain relevant industry and technical knowledge by participating in development activities
  • Identify and partner with sales leadership on enterprise opportunities
  • Organize and maintain detailed records in the CRM
  • Provide periodic territory sales forecasts and go-to-market effort updates
  • Create a seamless hand-off of the customer to the Customer Success Team once contract is finalized
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; partner with Customer Success to resolve any issues that may arise post-sale
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the sales team, customer success, marketing, legal, finance, and other internal departments
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You must have at least the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field experience
  • At least (3) three years of sales experience in employee benefit consulting, health plans, or employee benefit solutions
  • At least (1) one year of experience building and managing employee benefit consultant/broker channel relationships
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization with executive presence
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue in a relational selling environment
  • Demonstrated industry knowledge and connections in the employee benefits space
  • Ability to collaborate on a territory specific go-to-market plan and execute
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Coachable and continuous improvement spirit
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, evolving environment
  • Collaborative, team-player mentality
  • High-integrity, accountability, and results oriented – ownership mindset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel, as needed

It would be great if you have:

  • Relatively tech savvy
  • Experience selling healthcare navigation solutions or healthcare SaaS solutions
  • Experience selling employer sponsored pharmacy solutions
  • Experience working in CRM’s (HubSpot preferred)
  • Proven track record selling to C-Suite-level executives

Supervisory Duties: No supervisory duties

Travel Requirements Percentage: Up to 75% may be required. Remote work enabled.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office machines, etc.
  • Prolonged periods of being stationary at a desk and working on a computer
  • Communicating with others to exchange information via typing
  • Must have close-range clarity of vision with or without corrective lens
  • Ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems; Multitask without loss of efficiency or accuracy, able to perform duties from multiple sources
  • Interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers, clients, and vendors and under adverse circumstances
  • Must maintain regular attendance and be punctual
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions
