This position is open to applicants or individuals who are located in or around Salt Lake City, UT and able to work 1st shift scheduled Monday-Friday with flexibility for longer hours based off of business and peak needs.

The Role:

As the Inventory Control Supervisor, you will lead a team of inventory professionals and play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and delivering value to our clients. You will be responsible for developing and executing inventory strategies, driving performance through data analysis and continuous improvement, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. This role is essential to Cart.com’s commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction across our fulfillment network.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support your team: Hire, train, and coach inventory control associates. Set clear expectations and help your team succeed.

  • Own inventory accuracy: Manage cycle counts, physical inventories, and root cause analysis to keep our numbers tight and reliable.

  • Drive process improvements: Help build and improve inventory workflows and SOPs that make our operations more efficient.

  • Track performance: Monitor KPIs and SLAs, and share insights with leadership to improve results.

  • Collaborate across teams: Work with warehouse operations, client services, and systems teams to solve problems and improve inventory processes.

  • Support system enhancements: Provide feedback on WMS functionality and help test new features or updates.

Who You Are:

  • A strong communicator who leads by example and builds trust with your team.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where priorities can shift quickly.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a knack for spotting issues and solving them.

  • A team player who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in when needed.

  • Focused on continuous improvement and helping others grow.

What You’ve Done:

  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team in a distribution or fulfillment center.

  • Experience working in ecommerce or 3PL environments

  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data to make decisions.

  • Familiarity with WMS systems and inventory tools.

Top Candidates will have:

  • 3+ yrs experience in Inventory Control

  • 2+ yrs experience in ecommerce 3PL or equivalent environment

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma practices

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • 1st shift schedule

  • Able to lift 25+ lbs
