The Role:
Our unique cross-functional Media and Advertising team delivers strategic and creative media and advertising solutions for our clients. As the Associate Media Manager you will have the opportunity to work with clients from small startups to established, world-famous brands and see the impact you have on their business every day. If you enjoy diving deep to understand performance, while also helping to craft big picture strategy, and value the impact that great creative can have on brand growth, there’s a spot for you on this highly visible, rapidly growing team.
As an Associate Media Manager you are an analytical and strategic thinker, demonstrating the ability to learn and iterate quickly to focus on the best outcomes. You succeed by accelerating sales growth through data-driven optimizations to our client’s brand media strategy. You are a data-driven self-starter who follows trends within advertising and media. This role interfaces cross-functionally with internal teams and must be fantastic at developing and managing relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist paid media and advertising campaign strategy, setup, ongoing optimization, and reporting
- Research and analyze our clients’ business, competitors, and target audiences to recommend channel, budget, and targeting strategies
- Assist in setup and monitoring multiple campaigns across Amazon (Amazon Advertising Console and Amazon DSP) and other channels (e.g. programmatic, paid social, paid search)
- Support Media Leads on managing advertising campaigns through available ad tech tools to drive efficiency and enable focus on delivering on the strategy
- Pull and Analyze performance data and work with internal account leads to turn data into concise, actionable insights for our clients on a regular basis
- Proactively stay on top of new features and testing opportunities within Amazon and other marketplaces to share with internal teams and clients
- Assist in delivering flawless execution of media strategy, optimizations, and testing plans
- Execute on client deliverables, and provide clear direction & vision on priorities to help achieve client goals
Who You Are:
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with direct ownership of planning and executing media and advertising campaigns (including keyword research, content optimization, paid ads, bid/budget management, and reporting)
- Strong sense of ownership, drives for results and thrives in a high-performance culture
- Experience aggregating and analyzing data from multiple sources, and reporting on performance
- Experience recommending campaign budgets based on historical data and best practices
- Very comfortable working in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Drive3
- Strategic thinker, analytical, ability to learn quickly
What You’ve Done:
- Experience with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Similar Web, Skai, Perpetua, Pacvue, or other relevant tools
- Experience with some, or all the following: Programmatic Advertising, Paid Search/PPC/SEM, Amazon Advertising, Amazon DSP
- Understanding of Amazon business factors (e.g., inventory, buy box ownership, etc.)
- Experience working across the Ecommerce and paid media landscape (e.g., Shopify, Google Ads, social advertising, etc.)
- Previous agency experience
Nice to Haves:
- Ecommerce marketing experience is strongly preferred
