The Role:
The Wave Analyst is responsible for executing all merchandise waving and analysis to meet business requirements in a cost effective and efficient manner, for all divisions and companies.
What You'll Do:
· Knowledge in material handling and automated inventory management system in a distribution environment.
· In depth knowledge of all MS applications
· Proficient at using Microsoft Excel
· Good understanding of building and the use of mathematical equations and data bases.
· Knowledge of Manhattan Associates WM or PKMS preferred.
· Good knowledge base of e-mail applications
· Strong written and verbal communications skills required.
· Ability to work in a face paced environment while dealing with multiple system/operation requests
· Know the basic operation of Distribution process.
· Dependable and willing to work overtime when needed.
· Advanced Typing skills preferred. 9-Key ability a plus
· Takes direction well and can work with others in a team environment is a must
· Will work closely with all picking, replenishment and outbound teams on a daily basis for daily volume and waving plan in both Retail and Direct businesses.
· Will be responsible for all weekend reporting and will cover all areas of the facility,
· Will be required to work closely with the Wave Analysts and other members of the B Shift.

What You've Done:
· 2 Year Associate Degree
· 1 to 3 years of Office administration experience
· College course work in relate field or equivalent experience a plus.
· High degree of professionalism and confidentiality
· Flexibility on work hours and willingness to be on call
· Ability to work independently, an analytical thinker, attention to detail and the ability to have fun!
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to accurately work with statistical data and to identify inconsistencies.
· Ability to communication with all levels of management.
· Ability to work independently and set daily priorities
· Will need to have a good understanding of both the Direct and Retail sides of the business.
Physical Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or listen. The associate is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms.
· The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
· Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours, with frequent interruptions.
· Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
· Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel Required.
